Audio Output
The Audio Output component in Banalytics allows you to play sound through connected output devices such as speakers, headphones, or other audio systems. This feature enriches your video surveillance system with interactive capabilities — enabling two-way communication, audible security alerts, and custom sound events like simulated barking or alarms.
While many surveillance systems rely on email, SMS, or mobile apps for notifications, Banalytics goes a step further. Instead of passive alerts alone, the Audio Output component enables active engagement with your environment through sound. Whether you're communicating with someone via camera or simulating presence at home while you're away, audio output becomes a powerful and flexible part of your security toolkit.
Two-way audio cameras let you hear and talk back in real time — perfect for greeting visitors, calming pets, or checking in on your home. But what if your existing cameras lack built-in audio support?
Instead of buying new camera hardware, Banalytics lets you use your PC (running the Banalytics server) as an audio output device. Plug in speakers, headphones, or connect via HDMI — you get a full two-way capability with your existing setup.

Click next to the Audio Out submenu to add an output device.
Note: Currently, Banalytics VMS allows adding an audio output device to configure an alarm in your security system, we cannot access its volume controls, equalizers, and 3D sound effects.
