About Banalytics
A Polish software company building an edge orchestration platform for cameras, sensors, and physical systems.
Banalytics is built by BANALYTICS sp. z o.o., a software company headquartered in Warsaw, Poland. The product is a local-first, vendor-independent edge platform that unifies IP cameras, USB devices, and industrial equipment in one browser-based console.
What we build, and why
Most video and monitoring platforms force you into one of two trade-offs: lock-in to a single vendor's cameras and cloud, or assemble brittle open-source plumbing yourself. We build Banalytics so that small businesses, makers, AI teams, and industrial operators can keep their data local, mix hardware from any vendor, and still get the polish of a packaged product — the agent, the portal, the alerts, the dashboards.
We treat the customer's hardware as the source of truth. Recordings, telemetry, and raw sensor data stay where they are generated. Only metadata and signaling flow through our portal, and only with your consent.
The platform in one paragraph
Banalytics is an edge orchestration platform. The Banalytics agent runs on a Windows, Linux x86_64, or Linux ARM64 host you own — from a Raspberry Pi to an industrial mini-PC. It speaks ONVIF, RTSP, USB, Modbus (RTU and TCP), MQTT (v3 and v5), and ZeroMQ. It records video and telemetry locally, classifies content with YOLO object detection or a Gemini AI assistant, and reacts to events via Telegram, email, MQTT, webhook, audio output, or custom code. Multiple agents link into one console for multi-site operations. Read more in What is Banalytics or the documentation index.
Who uses Banalytics
- Industrial sensing teams add observability around DAQ systems, cameras, and measurement pipelines without rebuilding them. See Industrial sensing.
- Multi-site SMB operators unify mixed-brand cameras across retail, services, and warehouses into one dashboard with actionable Telegram alerts. See SMB operations.
- AI / ML teams turn physical infrastructure into a reliable real-world data pipeline. See AI data teams.
- Makers and homelab builders run local-first home monitoring alongside Home Assistant. See Makers & homelabs.
Engineering principles
- Local-first. Your hardware records and stores. The cloud is not a hard dependency.
- Vendor-independent. ONVIF, RTSP, USB, Modbus, MQTT, ZeroMQ — not a closed ecosystem.
- Modular pricing. The first instance of every paid component is free. You pay for additional instances only when you need them.
- Operational, not invasive. Banalytics wraps your existing devices and code; it does not replace what already works.
- Open by default. Open API, MQTT events, webhooks. You can pipe Banalytics output anywhere.
